Gameweek 1 Team of the Week is here!

Gameweek 1 was filled with plenty of upsets and surprises! Throughout these adversities, the following players became the most influential players in their respective matches

The Starting XI:

• sebglad: Although being on the losing side of the match, this goalkeeper prevented several high xG chances that could've easily seen the game finish with a high scoreline for Douglas City

• verybighardman: It's no small feat keeping ECL's best attacker quiet, commanding the Vauxhall Rovers backline against Stamford Athletic and executing silky smooth long passes to maximise his team's result from the match is a worthy mention

• ffa3: Was a key difference maker in defence to ensure Silsden Town start their Regional Division campaign off with a clean sheet

• house770: Once again proving his stature in the back with several intercepted passes and successful aerial duels, became a constant nuisance for the Ashton Vale attackers

• youngvampleo: Two assists from the left-wing back is a sign of things to come for the Durham Athletic side, has the potential to become one of the most dynamic players along that left flank

• j5mes: Two goals and an assist on the season opener shows the player is here to make a statement, having been focusing on other leagues previously

• wanderence: The Season 2 National Division winner has returned to form with a stellar performance, complemented by 1 goal and 3 assists!

• evilsmurf123: A very solid all-round midfield performance as the player-manager finally graces the pitch with his compatriots and leads them to their first Regional Division win!

• ietsuna: Newcomer attacker who has shown the rest of the Local Division who they'll have to deal with: a ruthless and deadly attacker with a sharp eye for goals

• k3dsw: Led the Appley Bridge team to a sensational first win in the Regional Division, helping his team find the final edge to dismantle the Preston Athletic side in the last minute of the game!
