TELFORD TOWN SHOCK VAUXHALL ROVERS IN THE CARABLOX CUP IN 7 GOAL THRILLER!
Telford town down Vauxhall Rovers in a shocking upset which sees them through to the Quarter Finals!
Despite being a division above them & Telford Town having lost 0-7 a few days ago, Telford Town were able to squeeze past National Division side Vauxhall Rovers by winning 3-4 in a 7 goal thriller to see them selves in the hat for the Quarter Finals of the Carablox Cup for the first time in their History.
The game got off to a quick start, with tigo2050 getting in behind cakelover58 and smashing it in the top right corner from outside the box. A second did not taking long, with what would usually be a routine save for epic_incel, managed to crumble its way to the back of the net after the American dove too early, bringing Telford to a comfortable 2 goal margine in the First half.
Vauxhall Rovers responded mercilessly in the second half, grabbing 2 goals in quick succession. The first one, scored by AddyDasRaumdeuter and the second followed just 7 minutes later by Vexhema who smashed it in through the underside of the crossbar to bring the game to bring the game to 2-2.

Telford however did not stop attacking. A deep ball from sebglad was able to reach bonfyz, who was able to run across the wing. He passed it towards abzkvs, who very unselfishly layed it off to tigo2050, who just had to tap it into an open net to bring the tie back in their favor. Then in the 87th minute, a cross from abzkvs was able to reach the head of bonfyz as he put it in the bottom corner, almost certainly sealing the Tie.
Vauxhall responded late in the 90th minute, after a cross of their own was able to reach AddyDasRaumdeuter at the backpost, who smashed it with a powerfull volley in the bottom corner.
Vauxhall Rovers were able to go up one more time, and after a pass from hesjonnytw_n fell perfectly to the feet of YunoMarkus, His volley hit the post. A minute later, Vauxhall had one last attack and a beautifull volley from vexzhema was met with an incredible save from sebglad.
Telford Town now advance to the Quarter Finals of the Carablox cup for the first ever time, whilst Season 3 Carablox Cup finalists Vauxhall Rovers will have to find their success in the National Division.
Vauxhall Rovers next game will be against relegation battllers Ashton Vale, whilst Telford will face Preson Athletic at home, who have the least amount of goals in ECL as of writing this.
