Lincoln AthleticRememberPastGloryLocal Division

An Introduction from owner of the club, RememberPastGlory, and what he expects from this season.

A new beginning, surrounded by similar stories. Lincoln Athletic.

The club enters the league with a lot to prove, and a lot to accomplish. With the 3rd Division becoming so competitive with talent, Lincoln sees themselves fighting a losing battle. New owner and manager of the club, RememberPastGlory has been in this position many times, and has attempted to fan the flames.

"I'm no stranger to this situation. 9 years in this league, and around 7 of them as a manager of a club. I've always taken on these types of challenges for the league."

The CV of the owner is long, but not very prestigious, only achieving 2 promotions in those 7 years. But he remains confident that he can get the club moving in the correct direction.

The manager has put in a trial system through playing. However, this won't be through friendlies.

"The plan for the club is quite in depth. I plan to bring as many players as I can to the club, and send them through many trials through scrims. This is to find the players who want to be here. Who want to give the time we're taking from them to the club. This season isn't about winning. It's about starting a strong core to move forward next season. This starts from the bottom. This starts from the first player, the first supporter, and in my case, the first staff member. I call for calm, and for faith. I give you my word that you will see this team succeed in the near future."

The club currently has every spot available on its squadsheet, and will be looking to fill that within the time frame they have. There's a ton of free agents who don't wish to play the game, but there is also those that are just waiting for that chance. This seems to be the club that is offering that. Lincoln Athletic is also currently looking to move into new digs, that have yet to be revealed to the public. Remember has since said that he's looking forward to playing his first game with the club, and he is keen to give a chance to a new generation of players as well as anyone brushed aside.

Only time will tell what happens to this team, but with a small look into its current situation, and growth of the league, it's going to be a really tough season for the new red and whites.

Will Lincoln Athletic avoid the bottom of the table this season?
