We are delighted to announce the signing of German goalkeeper Visqey.

The experienced shotstopper arrives at the club as a free agent with an impressive record of success, having won four titles across his career since the league's reboot.

Visqey began his career with Waterford United, where he lifted both the National Division title and the Carablox Cup during Season 1. He later joined Dagenham Town and added another Carablox Cup to his collection in Season 2 before helping the club secure the National Division in Season 3.

His performances established him as one of the league’s leading goalkeepers, playing an important role during one of the most successful periods in Dagenham’s history.

Manager PhilipNeame said: "We're delighted to have secured the signing of Visqey. It's been no secret that he has been a long term target of the club due to his extensive credentials, and I'm confident that he raises the level of the squad whilst bringing the enthusiasm and mentality needed to push for titles."

Visqey now moves to Durham ahead of the new season, strengthening the club’s goalkeeping department with his quality, experience and proven winning pedigree. He will wear the number 1 shirt and has already joined up with his new teammates for pre-season.

Everyone at Durham Athletic welcomes Visqey to the club.
